Smart Cities paradigm

Smart Cities initiative will involve council and its public, private, academic and community sector partners working together to improve the way they deliver joined up services to tackle the issues facing the people and businesses.

It is worth concentrating on two areas within the Smart Cities project – understanding more about the customers through customer profiling in order to learn what services they need and how to communicate back their needs to them, and joining up information about services and customers, so we can analyse this information either by local area or by customer group to make it more relevant to people. We can then work with customers to make sure services meet their needs.

Smart Pole Module

The INOT-LCD series of smart system module adopting modular product structure design, integrating 4G/5G communication module, high-definition AI camera module, ultra-clear LCD advertising screen module, security alarm module, environmental monitoring module, and smart phone charging module all in one.The proudct can be installed easily. The smart system module is connected network via 4G/5G/WIFI, and the cloud server processes data, which can be remotely controlled and monitored on the cell phone or compute

Connecting the cities

City planners and leaders are embracing smart, connected lighting upgrades—and are confronting an array of connectivity choices that may (or may not) enable the city to
achieve its goals. These choices range from low cost ultra-narrowband options to higher cost, high capacity broadband.

Research group Navigant in their 2017 research paper found that mediumband solutions prove to be both reasonably affordable and technically suitable for the largest number of potentially desirable applications. In contrast, narrow and high bandwidth solutions were found to be optimal for a smaller number of applications, with tradeoffs around cost. For example, narrowband networks are cost-effective but limited in terms of future uses; broadband networks, while highly functional, are more expensive.

Below figure shows the relationship between band and cost

So where does Tentek fit in this whole maze of smart cities? We offer consulting services as well as blueprints on concept and implementation of the building blocks of the smart city.

The INOT-LCD series of smart system module can be remotely controlled through the mobile phone APP or PC management platform, and the data can be viewed and read on the mobile phone or PC

1.Smart lighting

The INOT-LCD series of smart system module can be equipped with LED light source interface, which can be connected and controlled through APP or PC management system to set multiple lighting modes: timing switch mode, light control mode, and lighting electricity data Information statistics.

2.Smart Security

In the event of emergency, you can use the one-key help function to alarm for help, high-definition camera 24 hours 360 degree autonomous real-time monitoring, human movement detection, fire warning detection, flood warning detection, road safety monitoring, monitoring abnormal situations (In case of fire risk or abnormal water level), it can be independently alarmed and told the administrator.

2.1.Smart Help

When emergency occurs, you can use the one-key help function to ask for help.

2.2.Fire warning monitoring

The AI camera can identify the flame. When a fire is detected, it will automatically alarm the administrator to help ,and the relevant departments will do prevention control.

2.3.Road safety monitoring

The AI camera can monitor the road manhole cover. When the road manhole cover is detected as missing, it will alarm the administrator.And then the relevant departments will deal with it to ensure the road safety.

2.4.Flood warning and monitoring

AI cameras can monitor the water level of rivers, reservoirs, and dams. When the water level exceeds the warning range, it will independently alarm the administrator to help ,and the relevant departments will deal with water quality disasters.

3.Smart advertising

You can remotely and intelligently manage advertising through the mobile APP and PC management system, you can display advertising according to time period,advertising playback priority adjustment, and setting different time periods of advertising playback volume.So it can protect lives of surrounding residents.

  • Supporting three types of advertisements: video, audio, and pictures;

  • support switching of the playing priority of ordinary commercial advertisements and government public service advertisements;

  • Support various forms of live broadcast of news, sports, competitions, etc.;

  • You can set the advertising playback volume according to the advertising period;

4.Smart weather

24-hour real-time monitoring of weather environment data, hourly broadcast of weather environment information, support for low temperature voice warning and high temperature voice warning, monitoring data can be viewed in the mobile APP or PC management system

  • Temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, wind speed, wind direction, noise, PM2.5, PM10 data monitoring;

  • voice low temperature warning reminder;

  • Voice high temperature warning reminder;

  • Voice broadcast of environmental weather information every hour
